BLUES IMPROV. 101 - Part A - Scale Diagrams in GBDGBD Tuning

BLUES IMPROV. 101 - Part A - Scale Diagrams in GBDGBD Tuning

Here's a sample...

This is Part A of my lesson "BLUES IMPROV. 101 - in GBDGBD Tuning". (For Dobro or Lap Steel) In this lesson I go over my scale diagrams and show you how to play them and how to read the diagrams. There's some music theory in this lesson that's just enough but hopefully not too overwhelming. I suggest to really get these scale diagrams down because they are going to be the foundation to what we will be cover in Part B.

  • Full Lesson is Over 40 Minutes
  • Comes with 4 High Resolution Scale Diagrams PDF files that you can Print.
  • In Ultra High Qualtiy 1080p HD

Enjoy the lesson!

if you never play a single blues song this is one you need. All that theory you never wanted to learn is here but not as theory but in easy to understand charts. After just a few times going through this and working through the patterns you will start to understand which notes go where when you play out of a certain position.
Which note to leave out when you grip a minor chord suddenly the lights come on. Oh ya, it is that one because, I can see it in the patterns although the theory is still fuzzy.
I bought this so I could start to play some blues but I found that this lesson is so much more and applies as much to bluegrass as to Blues. The Title makes it seem like blues only but I am getting so much more out of this one.
I give this one a five out of five.
