HERE'S HOW YOU VIEW YOUR LESSONS:

Step #1 - Unzip or Uncompress the .zip file
You can download 7zipfree HERE.
-- Once you have downloaded & installed 7zip...
Here are some basic instructions for opening a .zip file with 7zip: using the right click on your mouse.

To unzip a file without opening the 7zip application, Right click the zip file and
Select > Extract Here
OR > Extract to [...folder name...]
The files will be copied to the same folder where you executed the operation.


Step #2 - The Tab is a .pdf file and will open in Adobe Acrobat Reader
You can download it free HERE.

Step #3 - The Movie is a .mov file and will open in either:
1. Quicktime
or
2. VLC (both are FREE and work on Windows)

-- You can download the VLC Player FREE HERE!!
(A lot of people really love the VLC Player!!)
-- It supposedly works better than Quicktime for Windows Users! Give it a Try!


Step #4 -- You're Ready to Start Learning!
-- Once everything is downloaded, simply print out your TAB (if it comes with it)
and set it on a stand if front of you, and play the lesson movie, and start learning!!! It's that easy!





* Remember *
Don't try and open ".zip file" with Quicktime, you want to "unzip" it or "extract" it first and then open the ".mov file" in Quicktime or VLC, the ".pdf file" in Adobe Acrobat, and the ".Mp3 file" in an Windows Media Player or iTunes.





Q. What kind of "Dobro® or Reso Gear" do you recommend?



Q. When I click the download link it says I "Have Nothing To Download". What's up?

Make sure you download your lesson within 48 hours. Otherwise you will get this error and will need to email me to Resend Your Order.


Q. Do you sell DVDs? Do you Ship Anything?

No, I only do downloads, and I do not ship anything.


Q. I just ordered one of your lessons and nothing came in my email.

Make sure you check your "SPAM FOLDER" or your "JUNK MAIL" folder. Some e-mail services do not distinguish good emails for spam emails, and may put emails from my site in your junk or spam mail folder.
The best thing to do is to add the following 2 email address' to your address book within your email. This will prevent your email service from thinking my emails are spam.

Q. I have a PC and it doesn't recognize the movie, and tries to open it in Windows Media Player?

The Movie is a .mov file and will open in either:
1. Quicktime
or

Q. I am having trouble viewing the video on my pc, there is sound but no video.

 

This is a simple fix. All of my lesson videos are in .mov format. You will need to have the latest version of Quicktime installed on your PC. Macs usually already come with Quicktime installed.

Q. I've downloaded the movie lesson, but I don't know where it is.

Ok, make sure you remember where you save the lesson when you download it. I would recommend to make a Folder on you Desktop of your Computer called, "DOBRO LESSONS" or something like that. Then just save all of your lessons in that folder.

Q. I get an error message when I try to open my downloaded movie.

Remember to make sure you have the latest version of Quicktime. If you know you do, and you are just simply trying to open the .mov file and play your movie lesson and you get an error, something may have gotten messed up in the download process. This rarely happens, but if you think this is happening to you just let me know via email and I will tell you the steps in getting a new download that should be free of this issue.


Q. QuickTime plays with good audio but the video display is green and images flash in and out appearing as a negative photograph.

It was recently brought to my attention that some customers are having this problem or something similar. It is a really quick fix! You have to just check a certain box within the Quicktime preferences, and your videos will work fine afterwards.

Q. How many times can I watch the lessons I buy.

After you pay for the lesson, you download it permantely to your hard drive and can watch it as many times as you want. Just make sure you remember where you save it on your computer, so you can open it up after downloading it. I also suggest you make a backup copy incase anything happens to the original.

You will have 24 hours from when you buy your lesson(s) to download and save them. However, if you need more time just email me and let me know, and I can re-activate your download.

Q. How do I "Unzip" a .zip file and why do I need to do this?

In order for me to put videos and tabs together in the same flle I "zip" them together. In order for you to get into these files and view your tab and/or your video you will need to unzip the file. It's a really easy process and most computers will do this automatically when you click the file. However if you need further assistance check out the links below:

If you have a Mac you will need a program called "Stuffit Expander" to open .zip files. Click here to download it.

Q. What's your Privacy Policy, is my personal information safe with you?

My goal for this site is to simply provide Great Lessons at a Great Price, and to be honest, caring, and kind in the process! I treat every customer like they are a Private Student Of Mine whether you buy one lesson or 50 lessons. Each person will get treated with the same respect and courtesy.

In fact, if you are a new customer and leary to put any personal information on my site, but still want to buy my videos, the only "Real" piece of information I need is your REAL EMAIL ADDRESS.

This is so that when you buy the lesson(s), you will get information regarding your order sent to your email address, thus you must put in a real email address that you can check.

That being said, it's nice on my end to be able to know where my customers are from, just from a marketing point of view and it's nice to know when my lessons are travelling all over the world!

Q. I paid with a Pay Pal "E-Check". Why does it say "Order Pending" and for how long?

I don't really recommend paying with an "E-check", but if you have to it usually takes a few days to a few weeks to authorize it. There's nothing I can do on my end to speed things up with this process. I think it's more of a hassle than just paying with your credit card with Pay Pal.
