I played acoustic guitar as a hobby and developed a serious problem with my left thumb, so bad that I could'nt play, so I thought I would learn Dobro. After a lot of searching for lessons on the internet and locally I ordered the Drobro Starter Kit 1. Before I got through the first segment I felt that I had already gotten my money's worth. The kit cost no more than a couple or 1/2 hour lessons from someone and you get hours of valuable information that you can watch over and over if you need to. Troy is great. He is very low key and thorough. The camera work is also very good. You get closeups of both hands. I highly recommend Troy and the Dobro Starter Kit 1. You get more than your moneys worth.

I just started Dobro, found Troy and bought "Starter Kit 1". It was all I wanted to get started - great videos showing everything clearly, plus Tab print-outs and backing tracks to practice along with. Anticipate purchasing more of his lessons, as they are the Best!
