Intro To Hawaiian VAMPS - aka Turnarounds for C6 Lap Steel

In this lesson for C6 Lap Steel (tuned CEGACE) I teach you the Basics of what's called "Hawaiian Vamps" also known as "Turnarounds". They can kick you off into a tune or can come at the end of the tune to bring you back to the beginning. I start with the most basic Hawaiian Vamp and build from there. I talk a lot about Right Hand Muting techniques (Palm Blocking, Pick Blocking, etc) and how to connect your notes to smooth out your Hawaiian Playing. This lesson is great for Right Hand Technique and to give you several basic yet very useful Hawaiian Vamps (aka Turnarounds) that you can use in your Hawaiian Lap Steel Playing.
