#5 - C6 Basics - SLANTS & PINCHES for Major Chords

HERE'S A SAMPLE...

This lesson is Volume #5 of my C6 LAP STEEL BASICS COURSE. In this lesson I show you how to play FORWARD SLANTS on the Lap Steel tune to C6 (CEGACE). Slants are a great way to play 2 notes out of the the chord all over the neck of the Lap Steel, also allowing you to Harmonize Scales and play chords in various positions all over the neck. It's also a great way to get that PEDAL STEEL sound on the Lap Steel.

This lesson focuses on the following:

  • Playing 2 Note Partial Chords or Intervals on the 3rd & 2nd String and also the 5th & 2nd String, up the fingerboard.
  • Harmonizing the C Major Scale in Intervals of Major & Minor 3rds on the 2nd & 3rd String.
  • Harmonizing the C Major Scale in Intervals of Major & Minor 6ths on the 5th & 2nd String.
  • We will use a tuner to check our intonation both using a Straight Bar & Using Slants.
  • Comes with Jam Tracks
  • Comes with Tablature
